Try that on the bottom center or top center. That will offer some alternative views as well as allow room for gadgets and other things.

If you get into the corners too much part of it can get moved offscreen depending different resolutions as well. Other then that it never hurts to have a few basics onhand!

Try the watermark remover for the RCs. That should work on seeing that gone. Any attempt to cover that over will ruin what you have going there with a likely mismatch of color tones.

You know what would be an interesting effect. Instead of the "Windows 2009" put the "Windows" by itself at the top and the "Se7en" below. The other would see "Windows 7 or Se7en" at the top with the 2009 below the blocks.

Meanwhile there's a Windows for any occasion!

Hi Anthony, that was one of my creations using Paint.net, I just merged it with another wallpaper I had with the Carbon effect on it and added a few other little effects.

Hey fellas! I was wondering if anyone with some skill could take my current wallpaper and add some windows 7 theme into it. Very similar to the one stolen from Skunksmash at the bottom of this post. (Thanks btw skunk & nice desktop! ) I use 1680x1050!

Take my regular red/black one here :



and add some lines/partitions/I dont know what to call them really. Either similar to skunksmash's at the bottom of this post or similar to this one here :



and then add the windows 7 logo similar to skunks! Bottom right corner is probably best for the logo, but other than that, if anyone is willing to do so, you have creative freedom. I'm merely throwing out my own ideas. Thanks for anyones time reading this.

Or if anyone who decides to give this a shot, if you enjoy the other "unleashed" one more particularly, it also is a good one I wouldn't mind.

1680x1050 HUGE orb but its good when you need to resize done or need a really big orb
Also a png file just open it up and it has no background once you cut out the "JS" its awesome for editing

Have any way of cutting the window emblem off so you only have the "7" on the last one there?

So far no one has posted any 7 logos without the emblem just the number "7" by itself in different colors. The folded emblem clashes with the background TheBull made up.

So far no one has posted any 7 logos without the emblem just the number "7" by itself in different colors. The folded emblem clashes with the background TheBull made up.

Seeing that I made thos logos too, it's no problem. Here is the blue one, just let me know if you want them in different colors!

If you are running 7 you simply have to copy the theme over from the sub folder all that is found in over to the "C:Windows\Resources\Themes|Aero\en-US\" for US and open up the Personalization option like you would for changing a theme or wallpaper there.

Don't mind the rest since those were copied separately but note where the arrow points to for the theme you copy from the MCT-? sub folder depending on which one or all is transferred. The copied theme(s) appear right away.

I can't colourize pauliewog's original because of the fade-out, If you want my remakes in colour with white that ain't a problem. Maybe pauliewog has the parts or someone else knows how to do the other '7'.

Hey guys I'm new here I would just like to know if you take some requests since I need a new Windows 7 wallpaper. Here are some things I would like to have on the wallpaper. First I would like an NVIDIA logo of some sort since I game with NVIDIA...lol. Second an AMD Athlon X2 logo which is my CPU type a Dual core xD. Thanks and sorry if i sound a little stupid its like 4:08 A.M. and I havent slept.

Finally got around to finishing this one I started a week or so back..
(Added more water detail and it's gained another planet, also added a bit of a fade overlay to it for a greater feel.)

Well I have been looking at some tutorials and have been messing around in both Photoshop and Fireworks. Its pretty cool the things you can make while your bored. I made this in Photoshop.

When tried out here the desktop was completely taken over while no animation was seen for the dying planet wallpaper there. I ended up logging off to get a normal desktop back. I thought I would let you know about that problem.

As for keeping it simple and still being able to reflect the desktop ending up out in limbo somewhere I had to come up with something that resembled the problem.
