Just be careful shaving as everything is reversed.
Must be the new generation as my other half always shared the bathroom, kitchen,
tv remote, and just about everything else. We even shared being married 44 years.......................together.

That one is designed for a lefty.

Turn the pic upside down or stand on your head. Which ever is easiest.

I do agree it is presumptuous that one size fits all.

That's one of the worst movies I've had the misfortune of watching. About 1/3 into it I realized what propaganda film it was and was sorely irritated for the rest of it. I want my money back James Cameron.

At least the natives won.

In reality they were exterminated.

So do you go with "happy ending" or the truth?

This I know all to well. I am not dim. I was replying to post #856 and not your post.#857. And it has nothing to do with the movie that was named, just my observation of what comes out of Hollywood. It is indeed all propaganda, one way or the other.

A old highschool friend of mine took this yesterday and posted it to his FB.

This picture was taken just outside delray WV.
Not sure exactly what kind of snake it is, but it's freaking huge he thought it might be a king cobra. If so it's about the max size for one.
It's definitely not anything native to the area.

Maguscreed

Seriously if anyone can identify the species in the picture I posted above, please let me know.

TVeblen

The largest native species in North America is the Eastern Indigo Snake: Eastern indigo snake - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And the Black Rat Snake is a close second: Pantherophis obsoletus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But that snake looks to be well over 10 feet so that raises the possibility that it is a non-native species and I'd guess an anaconda.

It became quite trendy during the Goth period on teenagedum to own a snake as a pet, and the pet of choice for the X-treme dudes was an anaconda. But like so many irresponsible pet owners, the shine comes off and the chores get old and they just release the animals into the wild. Perhaps that is what we are seeing here.

I'm not a expert but by looking at the length comparing with the distance of the fence post in the background and it't diameter I would think the snake is in the constrictor family, Python or Anaconda family. The head is not shaped like a viper family snake.

FABULOUS tip mickey megabyte. I wish I could rep you for that because I have been trying forever to figure out how to search for certain images --

But here's my question --- Do you have to have two pages (the Google Search page + the website page with the photo) open at the same time in order to drag the image over to Google Image Search? I tried the Copy command to copy a photo and Paste it into the Google Searchbox, but that didn't work --- although the "Copy Shortcut" command did work a little better --- but I don't think that's what you meant.

mickey megabyte

i don't know which browser you use, but i use a chrome based browser which allows me to 'rip' a tab off to one side, which opens a new window. i now have two browser windows showing different tabs, and can drag and drop images from one to the other.

or, depending on browser, you may be able to drag the picture up onto the google image page tab, which will then open allowing you to drop the image from the original tab into the searchbox, if you get what i'm trying to say.

i suppose what we really need is some sort of extension or accelerator which lets you right-click on an image and select 'search this image.'...and will open up google image search results in a new tab.

(or a bookmarklet that we could drag images onto)

BINGO!!!! I got it!

I'm using IE9 and here's what I did: I clicked on the little Google camera icon and when the Image Search screen came up, followed Google's instructions:

"How to get an image URL
1. Right-click an image on the web and copy the images URL.
2. Return to the search box and paste in the URL (Ctrl+V or Command+V)."

(To get the image's URL, I just clicked on Properties and copied it.) Then, as instructed, hit Ctrl+V and VOILA, the image's URL was in the search box and when I hit Enter, the image came up! VERY, VERY COOL! Thanks guys!

PS You can also do it by using this app:
TinEye Reverse Image Search

The questions about the next picture: Whats hiding behind the clock & do you really want to know what it is?

Next thing you know they will have a double decker version.
I think I'll pass on riding the lower deck.

Well, he was asked if he'd mind helping out with transportation during the 2012 Olympic Games.

Once he found out the Royal Family would be likely candidates for his services how could he refuse?

A padded stable and all the hay he could eat clinched the deal!

We're working on a double-decker version as we speak.

Mind you, if ever he can't make it, there's always alternative transport.

Apple's sassy personal assistant, Siri, recently made a faux pas: For a couple of weeks, the virtual assistant answered the question "What is the best smartphone ever?" with the answer "the Nokia Lumia 900." Oops. Siri had pulled its information from Wolfram Alpha, which based its rating of the Lumia 900 on Best Buy customer reviews. Apple has since recalibrated Siri to answer the question with such witticisms as "You're kidding, right?"

The Naica Mine of Chihuahua, Mexico, is a working mine that is known for its extraordinary crystals. Naica is a lead, zinc and silver mine in which large voids have been found, containing crystals of selenite (gypsum) as large as 4 feet in diameter and 50 feet long. The chamber holding these crystals is known as the Crystal Cave of Giants, and is approximately 1000 feet down in the limestone host rock of the mine.

The crystals were formed by hydrothermal fluids emanating from the magma chambers below. The cavern was discovered while the miners were drilling through the Naica fault, which they were worried would flood the mine. The Cave of Swords is another chamber in the Naica Mine, containing similar large crystals.

Images are showing directly now (at least on my side!?). I don't know how they were showing up before. I hope everybody is seeing them directly! If not, the images may be loading late (not because of your connection, because of the site it is hosted on). Yesterday, I couldn't see my 'memory' image too, but today I can. So, I can't exactly think of anything but problems with the site that images are hosted on.

I am used to use imageshack uploader and get the links easily to post on the forums.
But this images are not hosted on there, I was just copying the links and pasting into the forum. (In other words, these images are not on my computer)
I guess where they are hosted on, the site settings has a problem about viewing in forums which I never had with imageshack.

I don't see any URL in your posts either. We prefer the on site upload method because images hosted off-site often get corrupted or deleted by the host.
If you do use the image URL method, make sure you copy the image direct link and paste in the window as shown. If you paste in the white area you will be making an invalid link which starts with http:\\http:\\.

The reason his pictures from an external url were not showing is that site is using antileaching methods so the pics will only show on their site.

Curious to see if anyone knows, it's not a movie prop or anything like that it's an actual thing.
I know for two reasons, one I once saw it in a documentary and two, I found the picture to start with... it was labeled then.

Apple-ocracy

You have two cows. Apple sues you for patent infringement on iCow.

Your attorneys take one cow to defend you in court.

The courts rule in Apples favor.

Your attorneys take second cow for final payment.

You now own no cows.

You still owe Apple 1,000,000 cows in penalties.

Layback Bear

The Apple cows have it worse than other cows. They have to keep looking behind all the time to see how many Apple lawyers and sneaking up and what their intension are.

Layback Bear

The Apple lawyer use the stool to stand on behind the cow. I don't think milking is their intension. The milking comes later after the settlement. That is called American Capitalism.

Hopalong X

Apple lawyers milking the cows.
The "cows" are winning.

Layback Bear

Samsung capitalist cow lawyers and Apple capitalist cow lawyers are back in court. Seams to be a udder problem that needs to be worked out. The milking in some cases isn't working out as per court order. Seams like this udder problem is not tough in Harvard or Yale.

Is that a 5-1/4" floppy on the desk? Perhaps a guru on the Windows 1 forum.

Kevin Ismail

It doesn't seem like one. 4-1/2 floppy only has one circle in the middle. If looking the CRT flatscreen on the left, it can be 7-8 years ago. I guess.
