right now my clocks are 955/1450 one point i had it 1000/1450

It kicks butt due to it being new the drivers need work not all games are smooth as butter you get micro stutter but it is fading away

smarteyeball

Nice scores Tommy

Unfortunately micro stutter and hit and miss support is just part of the whole multi GPU thing

Solarstarshines

max settings on 1680/1050 GPU clocks 955/1450 I will get 1920/1080 later

still holds it own though stock clocks 925/1375

I of course had to try to break 40 fps being so close. Didn't think it would be to hard to get another 1.1 fps. Well it took pushing to 1.3v 1028mhz core and 1185mhz mem to get there, and that is everything she had. Man I need to get a new GPU this 6870 just ain't cutting it anymore

you can always get a second one for Crossfire that is what I actually had before i changed cards 2-6870's will put you in the 200fps range i would just grab another and it will perform close to the new stuff that is out if you look at my previous post a few pages back i had crossfire 6870 so you could get an Idea of what you would be getting

Wow the 6870 does scale well I ran with the same settings and looks like an 80% improvement. I am thinking of getting a 7950 after seeing what it is capable of the money it seems like the best value to me.

yeah but which one were you looking at lol cause my last post are of 7970's about 3 pages back would be 6870 crossfire hope you didn't get confused

I linked to the post I was referring too, for some reason when I quoted it the attached pictures didn't show up.

I want to wait to see what the GTX 660ti does to pricing before I buy something. I hope it helps drive AMD prices a little lower, I would love to get a hold of a 7950 under $300

Solarstarshines

I bought a 7970 for 368.13

They are the same price if you can get the higher end for the price I did i would do the same Micro Center - Visiontek Radeon 7970 3GB DDR5 PCI Express 900491

The one i bought is currently sold out though
