Whats your Weather Like part 1

Airbot

I thought it may be interesting to see what members Weather is like where they live "and may be useful for others who have to travel" so please post what your weather is like today.

Here in the south of England its 11.5c @ 6:43am and sunny !, looks like we will have a nice day

Quill

66 F at 10:45pm here. 92 F tomorrow. Calm....

Night Hawk

Horrible! 92% humidity!

Night Hawk

The rotten humidity here is from the constant monsoon weather like July showers may bring September flowers?! presently rolling in at 53F or 14-17C on the average overnight while June seems to have been two weeks in May!

I think "Mother Nature" is having a bad case of alzheimers Disease or something since May of 2008 was also a rain month!

spliff

wheather is lame for the summer here in u.k now

Mongo

Well at least its not to hot now dan

Guest

Well how about a look at the typical dry spell seen here lately.

Guest

Very heavy rain all day long no let up as of now...13hrs.

Guest

Hot as hell! Currently it's 40c with 95% humidity. Not surprising considering this is the tropics afterall... It's not the heat that bothers me, it's the damn humidity. Conditions wouldn't be nearly as bad if it were less humid.

Guest

Its clouded over here now and the wind has got up ... looks more like rain soon LoL

Lordbob75

I am at 41 C here in Phoenix, Arizona.
Not a cloud in sight, and it will only get hotter. Even the wind is hot.

~Lordbob

rook

Beautiful New Jersey....40 min from NYC!

wguimb

99 Degrees F here in Houston, Texas

zrtom

70 F in northern New York right now. We've had absolutely no summer so far this summer (cool and rainy). It might start tomorrow, though, with 85 F, sunny and low humidity.

Night Hawk

69 F
(20 C)

And another slight change in the forecast! Saturday won't be as bright and shiny like seen in the previous forecast. Clouding over even more!

zrtom You should be seeing this at the Adirondack airport and the Lake Placid 7 day.

70 F
(21 C)

Lordbob75

I'm happy our heatwave has gone and we are back to normal weather, ATM its 15c @ 7:32am just right for my Twink

So not fair............ Its still 100F outside at 11pm.....

~Lordbob

zrtom

I think I'm starting to hallucinate! You mean there's actually some signs that a summer is coming!

Night Hawk

Hey Night Hawk,
I'm going through Lake Placid today on the way back from Potsdam. Stopping at the Casa del Sol in Saranac Lake if time permits.
Are you up that way?

Not exactly! I simply have a hobby of studying weather patterns.

I can give you a 4 day forecast since you are headed that way. But I don't think you really want to know what that is.

Night Hawk

Its 7:50am ATM in England and the temp is 16.9c - overcast ... we may have rain but i don't mind its the Weekend !!!

Uber Philf

26.666667C in the forecast for the high temp with sunny skies until... late night crash, bang, flash again, boom! overnight thundering rumbles along. More rain again on sunday!

Rain, rain, rain, and maybe more with a few dry days out of the last 2 months.

Ex_Brit

We have Thunder and its getting quite dark its 12:38pm, we are in for a storm ! (like watching them .. pity its not night)

7echno7im

is 16 degrees, raining, and watching hoons drag race down the street XD

Night Hawk

Grey and overcast here, with thunderstorms forecast and a high of 24C.

mxosder16

It just went from dark .. to even darker here in Holland [NL]

holo88

Sunny, 75, and blue skies here in Minneapolis.

Guest

You'll notice that most of all this is being seen in the northern latitudes above the equator. There was a slght shift of the boomers expected for sunday now pushed back to late monday here while the last bunch of storms has now moved across the Atlantic.

Guest

84 degrees at 9:15pm.
About 105% humidity and yes, i'm in the a/c with clothes on

Guest

humid, dark, and rainy. it's been a real crappy day.

Uber Philf

cloudy, and a dash of sun from behind, 17 degrees.

Night Hawk

You should have been hearing a few loud booms already since that was rolling across your location earlier. "and now for the forecast for the next days..."

Just be glad it was good a week ago and not lately! boom, boom after another quick storm passing right across from upper state NY right over through where you were!

Weather reports courtesy of NOAA - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration if you want hourly forecasts unless you watch a weather channel.

Night Hawk

Here, it reaches 110F and is sunny all day. I have burns on my feet from walking outside it gets so hot.

Texas, baby.

skunksmash

I've been there before a good number of years back. It can take some getting used to when first coming in from other parts!

Joan Archer

I only got in an hour ago and its been raining all night ... temp ATM is 16.3c @ 7:11am ... and I'm off to bed soon

Guest

its hammering down in Norfolk, @ 15c......

We had the wind and rain yesterday, it's a mixture and cloud, sun and breeze today but it's still not warm now although warmer than yesterday.

My weather gadget says it's 19C 65F but that's the temperature for the town about 6 miles down the road from me, but then we are on the coastal road so have to put up with sea winds and mist blowing in.

Sounds lovely! Beats frying your butt off.

Night Hawk

Very hot here (Oklahoma) 100+F in the shade. We don't go out for too long in this heat.
I come from the UK and slowly getting used to the heat. Better than wind and rain!

holo88

77F, 25C and shiny for a change! until... every other night and day rain, rain go awayyyyyyyyyy.......

sergiogarcia9

I can't decide it that is good or bad. Either way, it is still sunny and hot 24/7 here (except when it gets dark; then it is dark and hot).

Al Gore and his stupid 'global warming' invention that's whats going on.

- on that note. does anyone really care if all the polar bears die? i mean seriously, an animal that uses, well YOU, as food..... i dont get it

Does anyone care if the dinosaurs died? naaaaa...

We just be the next on the list however! When ice caps melt that puts more moisture into the atmosphere to begin with. And what goes up must come down in whatever form including a tsunami?!

Pollution from manufacturing in the 20th century as well as carbon dioxide emmissions from motor vehicles on a global scale. The facts are there to show the science regardless if Gore won the nobel.

Guest

eh. whatever. we'll all drown to death, probably in our sleep from all the excess moisture.
evolution is awesome! we kill the planet, it kills us, then it makes new even stupiderer humans in 10 million years.

btw... it's raini- nope it sto- it's rai- st- raining again. this weather sucks. good thing i dont really go out that much, i'd be p'od. this kind of crap would ruin any normal persons day

I like the rain. My plants like the rain. We'd be happy if we could get some.

Night Hawk

Too much rain can actually be harmful to gardens as well as farming. Both end up with a delayed start early in the season as well as the lack of sunlight needed along with the adequate amount of rainfall.

For those taking vacations and wanting to simply putter around on the outside of the house, family barbbeQs, and whatnot as well as other outside recreational activities all the rain makes for a dull life! The only ones that really make out any are the early morning fishermen who like a light rain in order to confuse the fish they plan to catch!

Night Hawk

Uber Philf

Well you can collect enough steam when the sun does finally appear to power the metal beast. First you have to release the brakes however before it will move!

Night Hawk

That runs a boiler that then sees steam power.

Now just imagine if you could bottle up all that steam and not even have to use any coal?!

Prsently 18C and now they're saying no rain until wednesday night with a high of 25C? Crazy forecast alright.

Lordbob75

16 degrees, and sunny, finally at home after 1 week at a relatives

Night Hawk

At 14C now with clear skies for a change! This summer so far has been a trip of it's own!

Guest

It is currently 11pm here in Arizona, with 100F outside. Wow. So much for heat loss.

I wish it was stormy here...... Though my gf would be freaking out. Still, the storms would be worth it (for me anyways..... poor girl.)

~Lordbob

Out in the desert nights should see the opposite since there's nothing there to hold the heat.

I am in the suburbs of Phoenix. There is everything to hold the heat.

When I go out camping in the middle-of-f***ing-nowhere, then it gets down to jacket weather at night, VERY quickly.
We kind of lost the effect here in the city

~Lordbob

Night Hawk

That's for sure! You get a taste of what it's like here at night!

In Utah we have 3-4 months of the year whe it's 90-95F/32-35C and NEVER rains. We are in this pattern now. In the winter there is 12 inches of snow and it is 10-35F/-10 to 2C for 3-4 months. It's a strange place to live. It's a "High desert" We have 12000 foot mountains right next to us so we have fresh water and elevation is 4500 feet above sea level. I like it here though.
