Yesterday it was 88, tomorrow 88, next month 88, six months from now around 87, it never changes much here

Lollies

Got a new computer chair, dono if I like it though. Its super comfy but for whatever reason they made the plastic parts silver which look kinda cheesy.

It does look good but why did you get such a "cheesy" looking chair?

LADYPINKtomato1

That's a great looking chair .. I need a new one.. I've worn the front off of mine.. (the cushion..)...does that mean I'm sitting too close to the front of it.. or just plain used too much ???... lol

LADYPINKtomato1

Fall is in the air down here.. was 50 at 7:57 am today...still no rain.. the leaves are dropping off the trees.. we may NOT have any fall color this year..it's been way too dry. I'm loving the temps however.

LADYPINKtomato1

Silly me, I thought out there it was always mid-70's and comfy during the day! Must be a different part of the state, or else you are right about the global warming.

At the store it looked good, I didn't notice all the silver though, the only reason i think it looks cheesy is cause I think they tried to make it look like chrome by painting it silver, I mean i could just sand off all the silver if I want. It just seems like it has a futuristic look, but maybe its just me.

It's 88 here and very very humid.

AND

I dropped me droid on the pavement when I got out of my car heading into work this morning.

THEN

In about an hour or two I helped some older woman get her stuff out of her cart cause she was having a hard time, then I decided to head back to stock shelves instead of my register and the Co-Owner/Manager called me over. Told me that it wasn't customer service because I did not help the 24 yr old gentlemen behind her. Granite I should have opened my register and helped but I had a job to do.

Yeah I know I take stuff too personally btw.

Derek lives inland, so he gets more heat. But I live on the peninsula, between the ocean and the bay. We have natural air conditioning, and the fog comes in at night, and stays until mid morning. But when get a high pressure like now, no fog so it stays hot. mid 70's might be normal, but not at 8 am. And 93 is hot here, no AC.

A Guy .. we had those awful temps a few weeks back.. even with AC running full blast.. it's a pain to deal with.. I'm soooo glad a Canadian front came through this past weekend.. no rain , sure much cooler.. really nice .. early morning temps .. mid to upper 50's.. day time .. upper 70's to low 81.
I'm hoping this is the ending of summer for us.. now to get some much needed rain..the leaves are falling in droves.. we may not have any fall color.. which usually brings a lot of out of state visitors to enjoy the fall folage.

I wish you the best with setting it up. There is a lot of help her waiting to help you with that task.

Thank you for the kind thoughts. Mae Lyne is doing better every day; but she has a long way to go. She has almost no stamina and of, course, she has a good deal of pain. But she is progressing and she has a great attitude. I'll bet it will be a year before she gets her stamina back and her body fully adjusts to the loss of about 20% of her lung capacity.

Today I got up at 7:30, drove 60 miles to an appointment, drove 60 miles back. Stopped at work on my way back and got a Viso with the equivalent of 3 cups of coffee (I was falling asleep), got lunch, went to work at 12:30, got yelled at by customers, and checked the forums during my breaks and lunch.

And I ordered my new comp parts on Sunday so I get them Thursday They are shipping two different shipments

Tews,
We must have the same built in alarm clock as I got up at 2:30am.
Went to the bathroom then used back scratcher (couldn't reach the itchy spot) and went back to bed.

Today,I was approached in the supermarket by an elderly lady who told me that she lived nearby to me and had seen me a lot taking my kids to school and general trips into town.
She said that she had been wanting to ask me something ...(no dennis not that!)
she said she had a degree in fine art and was in the process of getting together several models to recreate a 5x6 foot painting of the Last Supper
and asked if i would sit for her . (Im going to be Jesus)
Its going to take several months and several sittings and will begin in December
so im feeling rather flattered at present.

Absolutly, first reason is that I am a woman, second they are made for me (women), looks good on me and other more reasons. No reason of mine it's not the same with his reason.

To see me in a Mankini the cost of admission just would go up and nobody would pay.
Therefore Buffalo Drive In would close, people would lose their jobs and the economy would suffer unless you were included in the Marquee!

But not necessarily at the same time.

@LPt1: Have you noticed how the wheels in that animation of an old fogey in a mobility scooter initially seem to be turning backwards? If you look at them for a while, you will see that they appear to change direction every so often.

Lol, it does seem in all the pics of him I've posted he has no pants on .
he doesn't like to wear them and unless it jeans with a belt they don't stay on longer than a few mins, he'll grow out of it.
pants restrict him climbing the furniture and shelves ...
