Doc, they must know about your time machine. If you are still alive, they want you to fill in your date of death and location of burial.

Good News,

Just don't sell them or give them away as per MS regulations

LADYPINKtomato1

I hope you'll enjoy yours....which ever one you choose.
Right Doc

Lollies

I am NEVER eating a chicken nugget again.... You can thank me later for this one...

Say hello to mechanically separated chicken. Its what all fast-food chicken is made fromthings like chicken nuggets and patties. Also, the processed frozen chicken in the stores is made from it.

Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sievebones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this.

Theres more: because its crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.
But, hey, at least it tastes good, right?
High five, America!

I probably did but now I'm going to be up all night and all I have to do is mess with my new comp parts but I'm still kinda sleepy so i don't wanna start rebuilding my pc and do something stupid because I'm tired. Besides that stores are closed so that stuff will have to wait till tomorrow.

It is too wet and windy for walking the dog. I recently got told off about leaving my PC plugged in all the time. Also I have just joined these forums: QueerUK - Gay News, Gay Forums and Gay Guide

Just read an e-mail sent to me about Julie Andrews changing the lyrics to the Famous song
"The Sound of Music...

It wouldn't be funny if it weren't so true... Julie Andrews turned 69 and to commemorate her 69th birthday on October 1, actress/vocalist Julie Andrews made a special appearance at Manhattan 's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP. One of the musical numbers she performed was "My Favourite Things" from the legendary movie "The Sound Of Music."

Here are the actual lyrics she used:

Maalox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favourite things.

Cadillac's and cataracts, and hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,
Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,
These are a few of my favourite things..

When the pipes leak, When the bones creak,
When the knees go bad,
I simply remember my favourite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,
No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,
Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring,
These are a few of my favourite things.

Back pains, confused brains, and no need for sinnin',
Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin',
And we won't mention our short, shrunken frames,
When we remember our favourite things.

When the joints ache, When the hips break,
When the eyes grow dim,
Then I remember the great life I've had,
And then I don't feel so bad.

She got a 4 minute standing ovation!

I knew that and it applies to most processed meats and fish - tuna, salmon, deviled ham, Spam, baloney, etc.

Hi, the customer was so dumb novice. After struggling for 30 mins, I gave up and asked her to speak with the tech support of her PC. She could not even download the MSE file from the internet.

The chicken nuggets are NOT made that way here in Ar... we are the smack dab middle of real chicken growers.. they all USE REAL chicken to make their nuggets..
So feel free to keep on eating your REAL chicken nuggets that come from Arkansas.

This is one of the cutest emails I have received in a while!

An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard.
I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had

a home and was well taken care of.

He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head;
he then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the
hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep.

An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out..

The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard,

walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall

and again slept for about an hour.

This continued off and on for several weeks.

Curious I pinned a note to his collar:

'I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is

and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon

your dog comes to my house for a nap.'

The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar:

'He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 -

he's trying to catch up on his sleep.

Can I come with him tomorrow?'

Thank you
I know the belt buckle I actually got for my pastor and friend, Casey. He loves belt buckles, and I know he'll enjoy it. The rest are for myself. I'm getting a Q-cube for my friend Josh, probably... Actually I missed a bit of the shipping costs, so it's closer to 275... oO

On a plus note, it's really cool when you buy something here, buy something there.. because you never know when they're gonna arrive, and when they do, they arrive at random and it's like Christmas for yourself
It's almost like a game, you buy a bunch of things on random days, and try to guess when they're going to arrive

LPt1 I loved that email you got about the dog, it was such a typical response to the note.

I've spent the day being taken over by a couple of stray cats. I have a large black castrated male and for a few weeks now have had regular visit from a female, although I think she's probably been seen to. I know that she looks well looked after and not really what you'd think of as a stray but she turns up and is very vocal usually wants something to eat but put outside. If you're not around and the door is open she will walk in and wander around looking for us, being very noisy about it as well

Yesterday there was suddenly a new cat turn up, this was not that old but obviously a snipped male cat, very thin and starving as he made short work of food put down. We think he's probably got worms as well as his belly is big and hard so as I had a worm tablet in the cupboard ready to treat my own cat next month, well I gave it to Scraggy, as my husband has named him

Not long ago I had all 3 in the house, was sitting here when her ladyship came walking into my office looking for me, went back down the passage to go to the kitchen and my cat was sitting on the storage box in the hall looking as we walked past. She has something to eat and who should very cautiously come in but the new cat, the female sort of hissed a bit and went out and is settled under the car.
The new one had a walk around then suddenly saw Sooty sitting on the box, hissed at him did a little caterwauling then a bit of a pathetic meow, Sooty just sat there looking at him

Little one went back in the kitchen and Sooty went out the other door and now there's just little one settled down in the hall for all the world as if he's always lived here

Oops sorry didn't mean to turn this into a novel, but thought I'll let you know about my day, as it's now time to switch off for the night and decide who's in and who's out for the night.

I wonder.... does anyone know what happens when you change the workgroup name of your computer?

(System > Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings (change) > computer name (change) > Workgroup

I jokingly changed it from "WORKGROUP" to "ADMINISTRATORS"
Then windows prompted me to restart my computer to let the new setting take place.

But I postponed it for fear of something bad happening.

You can change the workgroup name to anything you like as lonkg as you follow the normal rules about certain symbols not being allowed.

The workgroup is used with the older Microsoft networking technology so is more important if you have xp or earlier systems on your network.

Also some other devices such as printers and drive arrays still only work when the workgroup name is the same on all systems

As an aside XP home used to use o default workgroup name of MSHOME so if you have mixed systems at least one default would have to be changed

Shame about Hastings pier. I spent many happy hours hanging about at the pier as a boy. Also piers all over the country keep burning down or just falling down from neglect.
Good luck getting on the I.T. course and of course good luck to your dad for tomorrow.

Why so long for resutls to come back?
Normally, if anything looks suspicious, they do a frozen section and send it to the lab immediately so they can remove more.
Based on your information he should be good to go to a quick recovery and that's darned good news.

FACT #1: I will buy anything that is shiny and catches my attention for more than 5 minutes at a time. How do you think I bought my car?

Today I worked a bit more on my website (http://www.inspireNXE.com). If anyone goes to it, McKillWasHere set the message thats on it. Not me!

I also tried to figure out why my WRT160N DD-WRT Router is resetting its wireless. Still clueless!

LPt,
Be careful when Boo gives you directions sometimes he misleads you as a practical joke.
He fooled me once and now I am on to him.

There is another way to center a sig and that is to highlight the attachment and then hit the align center bars right next the the underline U above.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you beat me to it

That's the number I give out to people who I don't want having my actual number (around here most numbers are 579, 491, 864, 829, 894, etc... so throwing in 867 seems pretty harmless to most people)

Hopefully i might start getting some proper sleep.

Only at night, when trying to sleep. The wife tells me i snore and stop breathing.
Went for a sleep clinic a while ago, where the monitored me.

Specialist told me today, i stop breathing around 32 times per hour, with the longest time being 75 seconds. Called sleep apnea.

No wonder i wake up tired.

I'm sorry to hear that Jon. I have a friend who suffered with sleep apnea and it made his life fairly miserable for several years until it was properly diagnosed.
Now he sleeps with a CPAP machine and breathing mask. Initially he had some issues with bloating and dry, cracked lips.
These have now been sorted out by adjusting the pressure and using a different style mask and he is like a new man.
Instead of being tired constantly he is bouncing around and his whole mood has lifted.
Here's hoping, best of luck to you, J

I found it to be very amusing, the day I discovered it....and after offering it to someone else, and seeing they had not chosen to use it, I decided not to let it go to waste.

Jon, Mae Lyne, my wife, has been using a CPAP machine for almost a year now. It has made all the difference in the world. We both get sleep now!

She went through the sleep tests and found she quit breathing 62 times with 26 of those events being major. She would sometimes wake up with a start and sit up gasping for air. Her O2 level dropped so low, they put her on O2 for the rest of the study.

I hope you have the same success with your CPAP as she has had. She uses a comfortable fabric mask called the Sleep Weaver.

Hope it works out OK for you Jon, my husband suffers from it but not severe enough to need a machine yet although a friend of mine has used one for years.

Thank you all very much for your kind words , today is always a tough day for lois and I ,
Today we went to the beach where we had scattered sachas ashes and put some flowers in the sea ,
its comforting to think that he may have travelled the world a little and that in the summer he is with the other children playing on the beach.
lois says to say thank you all, she is touched and thinks that you are all lovely.

I am so sorry for your loss Julian, Those are beautiful thoughts you have of him.

Joan Archer

Boo and Lois,
I just tuned in and found your message about the loss of your son.
So I found this excerpt and want to share it with you.

The Lord must have sent you for a reason,
But for another He took you back,
Its said He works in mysterious ways,
I have to say I agree with that.

You came here to your parents,
And left them oh so fast,
But I think you gave them hope for the future,
And a happiness for their past.

Time has a way of healing wounds,
A lot of people say,
But no matter who might come to be,
They will never take your memory away.

There may be other gifts later,
For your mom and dad to love,
But they will know their most precious gift,
Is with our Lord, God above.

Our deepest condolences,
Dennis and Donna

boohbah

That was lovely Dennis, and Julian I'm sending my best wishes to you both as well, it's true when they say it's hard for a parent to outlive their child but take care of yourselves and know even though the pain wont go away it will get easier to bear.

Dennis thank you for taking the time to find a poem.
wherever sacha is im sure he knows he was loved .

Carl,
Those of us that have been there, when we've lost a loved one, know it is a gut wrenching ordeal. Having close friends(even the ones here in 7F) make the pain much easier to handle. Time may cure some of it but our memories are never lost!

My wife's Neurologist just returned from vacation and finally read the MRI test. Not so good!

Donna's MRI, as expected showed her aggressive multiple sclerosis. She should be a good candidate for the Tysabri treatment. I need to go over the recruitment forms with you for her to get into the TOUCH program (Tysabri program). I will see Donna on 10/29 or sooner to get he forms done and sent her for the infusion after she is approved to receive it by the TOUCH program.

So here we go with another try at controlling this damned MS Disease.
I need to ask my friends from across the pond.........What and how are they treating aggressive MS over there?
Please pm me just to keep this on the QT!

That's not good My grandmother has had MS since the 1970's and has been in a wheelchair as a result since 1980, so I know where you are coming from.

I actually didn't work a night shift for once and I now and puzzled as to what I should do. I comp is unfinished but I need the parts, a co-worker is borderline stalking me, and I have to wait till tomorrow to get my check. I could play my 360 i guess but I don't feel like being yelled at by little kids after being yelled at by people of all ages today.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I support your action, EBay is possibly the worst thing ever.

SQL Azure looks soo nice and I wanna get it, but it's pay-per-usage type of thing and I can't afford that in the long run.

Dinesh, congratulations on you five years together and all the best for Tuesday.

By the way you could have told us earlier - we'll have to borrow Doc'd Delorian to get everyone to Mumbai in time for the festivities
