Radio in my Pc Speakers??? part 1

Danielzxzx

I need to rearrange my speakers. The new place where my speakers are going are causing something weird to happen. I can now here the radio through it. If I turn the volume all the way down the radio is still on and if all the way up the radio is still the same volume. I don't want this radio to play through my speakers since I don't want it when playing games and stuff. How do I get this radio to stop playing through my speakers?

Do you actually have a radio near the speakers. I had a similar problem where it sounded like the radio was playing through my speakers a few years back on an XP machine. Turned out it was a virus/spyware/whatever it was. Does it only happen in that location?

No radios are on in the house and it seems to be playing some kind of French radio station and I and nobody in my house listens to it. It is always on when I move my speakers to the different location. Maybe it is picking up radio waves and somehow it is able to play it through my speakers. The radio is quiet and messing around with the volume does not effect it.

I have read that that kind of thing can happen, but its mostly guys on forums also claiming all kinds of ridiculous nonsense. This is gonna sound crazy, but try wrapping the speakers, except for the actual part where the sound comes out, in aluminum foil. The reason nut jobs wear foil hats is because radio waves can't pass through metal (I can find you documentation if you need me to). Its the same reason most people can't get a good signal inside Walmart. The metal parts of the building block the cell phone/mobile signal. If nothing else, it might tell you whether or not it really is a radio signal. I wouldn't recommend leaving them that way for long, because as soon as a visitor sees, your going to have to do some explaining.

I certainly don't profess to know exactly how it happens, but it is possible.

I've had the same thing happen with my guitars amp acting like a receiver.
