Please post about strange or bad dreams you have had? I will post about one of mine later. (700 posts)

Bad dream ? I am not ready to have a bad dream

Tbh, I don't really recall my dream/s when I woke up and I know that I had bad dreams and all but I just can't think of it.

I don't really have bad dreams anymore, but they are still strange.

I know the people in my dreams aren't real, and I know that they don't know that they aren't real. What I can do in my dreams, I know that can't do these things in real life. I'll tell them that this isn't real and that I am dreaming and they will look at me funny like as if I am crazy, but then I wake up with a smirk on my face thinking I told you so.

There was one a little while ago where I was in a episode of House, it was a bit strange, but not bad. I think, I don't really remember.

normally in flying dreams i go too high and get scared, but the last one there was power lines so i had to land and i did. Go for it!

another is my x girlfriend, 2girls ago. I always seem to be getting back together just for sex but I keep trying to tell her I want to know more about her B4 we do anything.

your car is your life, so something in your life is lost and out of reach, next dream try to look at the view and you might see the specifics?

I have not had a dream in yonks, though since starting APAP treatment, i have an inkling they are starting to come back.

I don't ever have dreams where I am doing "normal" things. My dreams are always things that would never happen in real life. Like once I was in my car and hit the brakes hard and my car rolled up in a ball like you would roll up toilet paper. == I have a lot of dreams where I am in the same place. There is this apartment complex where the apartments each have their own outside door, but once you go inside they are connected by hallways. You can go into anyones apartment by going down a hallway.

I have been known to wake up in a panic on days that I work in the morning, because I dream that I am late. (I'm not a morning person)

this one time i dreamt i was in knotts berry farm with my sister. she was reading in a lawn chair by a roller coaster. i was standing by a consesion stand when suddenly the flood invaded the park. remember the flood? from halo? yeah those guys

I'm in the process of restoring my first car. I wake up from a most odd and violent dream the other night. I find my car has been stripped to it's axles and the hood discarded to the side. Two other individuals are stripping down another vehicle and I get the great idea of tossing my hood at them in the other car. They jump out and as I'm driving away one jumps on my moving car hood and starts firing his gun through the windshield. I slam on the brakes and the person fly's forward and then I proceed to run over him with the car and then wake up. I'm chalking it up to a bad meal and too much cops and robbers on TV. lol

I took a 'dream interpretation' class in college - and it was fascinating. We had to keep a 'dream journal' for 30 consecutive nights, in which we had to literally write down every single thing that we could remember about every single dream that we had. And we had to wake ourselves up immediately after the dream, so we could get all of the information down on paper before we forgot it. (Once we got the hang of it, it actually wasn't that hard to do.)

Interestingly, one of the main things that we learned is that our dreams actually are very symbolic --- with each of us having our own symbols -- and apparently there are many universal symbols as well.

I learned that I "pun" in my dreams! Who knew? As an example, at the time of this class I had previously quit smoking about a year before, and in my dream someone offered me a Kent brand cigarette. I said to him, "Why are you giving me that? You know I Kent smoke!!!"

Windows M.E. had quite a few issues. It would make the wonderful windows seven worse than Vista.....

I'm of course always heavily medicated to sleep but I still always have a similar themed dream and it has to do with trying to fix something or solve a problem. I will continue to try everything I can think of till I finally raise my conscious level to a point that I realize I'm having this dream again and wake up stressed and bewildered.
I'm positive it has to do with the fact that I've spent the last 12 years trying to settle my Work comp case only to get close then something left out or not filed causes the case to return to limbo, and me back to hurry up and wait mode.

I cant remember any bad dreams, I did dream about my manager at work (but not going in to details , hes quite nice........ ), I don't remember dreaming much at all.

I had a dream that I tried hacking a computer, it shot a blade out of its floppy drive and killed me.

This was 10 years ago roughly I had this. Why I would be dreaming of stuff like that at age 8 is beyond me

It sounds like to me that if you hack on a computer, the computer hacks on you.

I just noticed that you said it Killed You. I have never died in a dream. I have come close but I always wake up. I had always heard that you can't die in dreams, but I guess that is not true if you bit the dust. == Has anyone else died in their dreams?

Nope. Like you, I've come very close, but never quite died. Still can be kinda scary though!
